Golf Gerre Losone is an 18-hole championship golf course in Losone, Switzerland, near Ascona and Lake Maggiore. Designed by Peter Harradine and opened in 2001, the course is set in a broad valley between the Melezza River and the hills of Losone, surrounded by the mountains and wooded landscape of Switzerland’s Ticino region. The current layout is a par 72 measuring 6,309 meters (6,900 yards) from the back tees.
The predominantly flat layout incorporates water, strategically positioned bunkers, mature vegetation, and risk-reward options that reward thoughtful course management. Gerre Losone also has a notable tournament history, having hosted the Ladies Swiss Open on the Ladies European Tour from 2006 through 2012. The course was originally a par 71 before the 14th hole was lengthened and converted to a par 5 in 2023, creating the present par-72 configuration.
