Overview

YT Golf Stats ("we", "us", "our") is an independent fan site. We take your privacy seriously and collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how.

Information we collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to understand how people find and use the site — things like which pages are popular, what search terms bring people here, and general traffic trends. This data is aggregated and anonymous. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Episode ratings

If you rate an episode using the star rating feature, we store a cookie in your browser to remember which episodes you've rated. This prevents duplicate votes. The cookie contains only a list of episode IDs — no personal information. It expires after one year.

We also store the aggregate rating score (a sum and count) as part of the episode record. No individual rating is linked to any person.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• Google Analytics — analytics and traffic measurement (third-party)
• ytgs_rated_eps — remembers which episodes you've rated (first-party, expires 1 year)
• WordPress — standard WordPress session cookies, only set if you log in to the site

Advertising

We do not currently run any advertising on this site. No ad networks, no tracking pixels for ad purposes.

Third-party services

The site embeds YouTube video thumbnails and links to YouTube content. YouTube/Google has its own privacy policy which you can review at policies.google.com/privacy.

Data retention

We do not collect or store any personal information about visitors beyond what Google Analytics captures in aggregate form.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
