Absolute piped. I think.

Hi, I'm Mike

Cleveland, Ohio. I started playing in my early twenties at Little Met, a local 9-hole course near home. First tee, first hole, every single round: the ball went right into the woods. That first hole has a wall of trees down the right side, which was essentially a magnet for my slice. Taught me a lot of patience.

Got better slowly just by playing and watching videos of my own swing, which I would recommend to anyone looking to improve. Start and stop the video in different positions and compare your position to a pro at that same spot. Been sitting at a 12 handicap for the last couple of years. Haven't played much recently, which is probably why it hasn't moved.

The game has two sides for me: can hit it a mile, and the putter is an absolute disaster. Never broken 80, but I've shot 81 and a couple of 82s. One day.

How I Got Into YouTube Golf

It started with Bob Does Sports, back when he was still going by Brilliantly Dumb. I got hooked watching him "heckle" PGA Tour pros at live events. But the video that really pulled me in to YouTube golf specifically was The Links at Victoria, where Bob took Joey to what might be the worst golf course in existence.

"THERE'S A BRICK IN THE FAIRWAY."

That was it. I was completely in. From there the rabbit hole got deep. Found the Bryan Bros for actual high-level ball-striking and some genuinely great tournament golf. Wesley Bryan rubbed me the wrong way when I first found him, but now he's one of my favorites to watch.

Why This Site Exists

Three things collided: I love stats and analytics, I was deep into YouTube golf, and I genuinely enjoy building websites. It just seemed like the obvious thing to create. There's a handicap tracker out there, but I wanted more — full scorecards, course-by-course breakdowns, format stats, episode history, who's actually improving over time. Nobody had built all of that in one place, so I did.

The site is constantly being updated with new creators, new courses, new episodes as they drop. New features get added whenever something feels missing.

How the Tracking Works

Every score on this site comes from me watching the actual videos and manually entering hole-by-hole data. When a player picks up a short putt, I make a judgment call on the score. When a video cuts before we see an OB penalty, I track what's on screen. Handicap indexes are calculated using the official World Handicap System methodology — the same formulas used by golf clubs worldwide.

It's not perfect, but it's as accurate as video-based tracking gets. Full breakdown of how the handicap math works →
