Lake Merced Golf Club is a private golf club in Daly City, California, on the San Francisco Peninsula. Founded in 1922, it has been shaped by successive generations of members and golf architects, including a recent restoration by Gil Hanse.

About Lake Merced Golf Club

The course uses changing ground, bunkers and contoured greens to create a strategic test. Its finishing hole follows an old riverbed before climbing back toward the clubhouse, illustrating how the land contributes to the round.

Lake Merced’s location is often described broadly as San Francisco, but its published clubhouse address is in Daly City. Visitors should confirm private-club access before travelling and use Junipero Serra Boulevard for the destination.
