Pawleys Plantation is an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus design in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Its opening nine runs through maritime woodland, while much of the back nine opens toward a tidal marsh, creating two distinct settings within one round.

About Pawleys Plantation

Moss-draped oaks frame the inland holes before the course reaches its marsh-side stretch. A 2023 renovation restored putting surfaces, revised bunkers and expanded fairway space under the direction of Nicklaus Design, following ideas Nicklaus developed during a return visit.

The course welcomes visiting golfers through public tee times and golf packages. A clubhouse restaurant and nearby villas support longer stays, but golfers can also arrange a round without making the course part of a larger resort trip.
