Prestwick Golf Club is an 18-hole links course in Prestwick, on Scotland's Ayrshire coast. The birthplace of The Open Championship, it retains an unusual collection of historic holes that makes the round about positioning, imagination and local knowledge.

About Prestwick Golf Club

Named holes such as Railway, Cardinal, Himalayas and Alps are part of the course's identity. The routing carries golfers through a traditional links landscape, with the early championship history providing context for a design that differs markedly from a modern resort course.

Visitors can arrange tee times through the club, with booking conditions and handicap requirements applying. The Links Road clubhouse is in Prestwick, Scotland; it should not be confused with the similarly named Prestwick course in South Carolina.
