How This Is Calculated

Another lower-is-better leaderboard: the count of double-bogey-or-worse holes a creator has made, divided by Round Equivalents (REs), so a 9-hole round only contributes half as much opportunity for a blow-up as a full 18. This is the "damage limitation" complement to Bogey Avoidance — where that leaderboard tracks the softer mistake of a single bogey, this one isolates the bigger meltdowns that actually wreck a scorecard, which tends to matter more for total score than birdie rate does. A creator near the top of this leaderboard isn't necessarily the lowest scorer overall (see Scoring Average or Avg Score Differential for that) — they're specifically the one who avoids disaster holes most consistently, which is its own recognizable skill in golf even at the amateur level these creators mostly play.
